What is Pichwai?
Pichwai is a traditional style of art that has its origins in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The ancient art of Pichwai portrays Lord Krishna as Shrinathji with lotuses, peacocks, and cows. Pichwai paintings were originally done on paper and cloth and adorned the walls of homes and temples.
The word Pichwai stands for hanging at the back (Sanskrit word "Pichh" means back and "wais" means hanging).
